Parents, Guardians, and Students,
This call is to let you know of something coming up on Monday at Arlington. The good news is that Arlington High School is experiencing an increase in the number of students as we start the 2016-17 school year. The dramatic increase in student enrollment this school year has necessitated the creation of additional course sections to accommodate appropriate class sizes and afford optimal learning environments for our students. Therefore, schedule adjustments will occur for many students.
Starting Monday, September 26th, it is possible that your child’s current schedule will be adjusted. Due to the complexity of master scheduling, we ask both parents and students to be flexible and understanding as we work diligently to ensure a productive and successful school year for all students. Teachers, administrators, and staff all understand that, while this can be nerve-racking, it is absolutely necessary. We are also sensitive to anyone – teacher, student, parent – for whom this may be stressful, and will take care to make this necessary transition as easy as possible.
We appreciate your support as we undergo these changes. We know it is what is best for our students and believe these changes will result in a positive educational experience for Arlington students.
