James was one of three seniors on the baseball team this season. He has played baseball since he was four years old and was a key utility player for the lions. A student of the game he prepared himself and learned various positions, 2nd, short stop, 3rd and right field. His favorite role was when he was in the circle. As a right handed pitcher James tossed numerous innings leading the lions to many victories. His success didn’t stop on the field, he worked equally as hard in the classroom earning a scholar athlete award every semester. One of his favorite memories was making it to the quarterfinals of CIF. James will miss the dynamics of being a part of the Arlington baseball team including his teammates and coaches. He wished his senior year could have played out as he described his team as “one of the most fun to be around”. He is looking forward to playing baseball at Riverside Community College and then has plans to transfer to California Baptist University. We wish James the best of luck! LION PRIDE!
