Gavin was a five-sport athlete throughout his career competing in Cross Country, Track & Field, Volleyball, Soccer and represented Arlington on the Male Hip Hop team. He helped the Volleyball team capture a JV League Championship in 2018 and a varsity Volleyball League Championship in 2019 while being a key player as the lions advanced
David has earned four Varsity letters and three Scholar Athlete Awards throughout his high school career in Track and Cross Country. He has been awarded with the 2019 Varsity Leadership Award and 2018 Heart of a Lion Award for his work ethic and dedication to athletics and academics. At the Riverside Poly Kick Off,
Boys and Girls Cross Country The Cross Country teams wrapped up their final league meet yesterday at the Riverside cross country course and clinched the league championship when the girls finished in 1st place and the boys finished in 2nd place. The Lions will continue their season on November 15th and 16th and the CIF
Varsity girls placed 4th overall, Ocean Rideout medaling in 9th and Hana Sigsbee medaling in 19th. Varsity boys placed 3rd overall, Vincent Navarro medaling in 7th, David Rush medaling in 16th, Jacob woodruff medaling in 20th and Joseph Ensley medaling in 22nd. JV boys placed 10th overall.
Cross County went the distance as JV competed in the Billy York Invitational and Varsity traveled to Dana Hills to be a part of the Beach Meet. We had 11 students place for finishing in the top 60. Varsity and JV runners place in the top 100! Over 15,00 runners competed int he Woodbridge Classic this past weekend. Top 100 finishers earned a medal. Great job Lions!!!
The cross country team came out strong. The boys took 1st place and the girls 2nd in the Inland Valley League meet on Wednesday. Ocean Rideout finished 1st overall and Vincent Navarro finished 4th. Go Lions!
