Senior Shout Out! Taylor Kruger – Water Polo and Swim

Taylor has participated in water polo since she transferred to Arlington her sophomore year.   She started without even watching  or understanding the sport and worked her way up to varsity through  her hard work and dedicated spirit.   Her work ethic earned her the role of captain on the JV team and a #2 spot on

Girls Water Polo compete in Claremont Tournament

The girls water polo team played in the Claremont Tournament this weekend and improved their record to 13 – 11. They had a strong showing in the Claremont Tournament going 3-1 finishing 5th place with the only loss occurring to Great Oak, 7 – 8 in the quarter finals. The Lions beat La Habra 17-8,

Water Polo celebrates their SENIORS!

The girls water polo team celebrated their seniors at their last home game vs. Lakeside of Lake Elsinore on Wednesday night. Congrats to Makenna Ortiz, Taylor Kruger, Faith Kelly, Mary Martinez, Sara Cabral, Yesenia Rivas, Crystal Tagactac and Emma Saroni.  A huge Thank you to Mrs. Quijada for being the MC during the senior presentations before the game. 

16th Annual 5 Counties Water Polo Tournament – Lady Lions finish in the top 12

Water polo hosted their 16th annual 5 Counties Tournament.  With 28 schools participating in the tournament at 4 different sites it was no easy task to finish in the top 12.  Girls Water Polo placed 11th out of 28 teams.  They lost a tough one in the first round competing against Great Oak.  The final score

Girls Water Polo falls to Palm Desert 8 -9

Girls Water Polo Girls Water Polo fell just short of securing a win losing to Palm Desert 8-9.  The JV girls tied 9-9.  The girls Varsity and JV teams will travel to compete against Norco on Tuesday December 10th.

Water Polo back to their winning ways

The Girls Water Polo team traveled to Beaumont.  The lions continued their winning ways downing Beaumont 13-5. Sophomore Citlali Quijada lead the team with 8 goals while Freshman Tessa Tavaglione added 3. Senior Mckenna Ortiz led the way defensively with 12 saves. The lions play against Hillcrest, Thursday 12/5.
