Mattison Beliveau – Southern California’s Athlete of the Week

After 3 games, 21 innings pitched, 24 strikeouts and only 2 batters allowed on base, Mattison earned herself the honors of  Southern California’s athlete of the week. Not only is she a force to be reckoned with in the circle but she produces at the plate going 3 for 3 in the first game against

Arlington Track and Field Host 2nd RVL Meet – Boys Defeat Patriot

The Arlington High School Track and Field team hosted their 2nd meet and competed in their 3rd RVL meet today.  The boys defeated the Warriors 60 – 52. Xavier Rideout took first place in the 100 and 200 yard dash.  Christian Bozeman came in second place in both and Raymond Warhop came in third place

La Sierra and Arlington meet on the Court: Lions WIN in 3 sets

The Arlington Boys Volleyball team took on crosstown rivals La Sierra in another RVL Match.  The Lions came out victorious winning the first three sets to sweep the Eagles.  The Volleyball team plays a non-league game on Wednesday against Valley View.  Good Luck Lions!

Boys Soccer Defeat Ramona 1-0 – Man of the Match, Adrian Mendoza

The Arlington Boys Soccer team has only lost 1 game out of their last 8 appearances.  Their overall record is 4 -1-3.  All three games ending in a draw were 0-0. 6 of the last 8 games they have shutout their opponents.  Defense is standing strong! Keep it up boys!  They will take on Hillcrest

Girls Tennis Beat Hillcrest in RVL Play

The Lady lions tennis program had another convincing win over RVL foe Hillcrest 17-1. They were led by single sweeps from senior Caitlin Mizell & Ava Cameron, and from the doubles duos of Brianna Noriega/ Husna Dawar & Ren Ortiz/ Karime Soria. They are now 7-4 on the season and next play Patriot this Wednesday. Nice job

Another No HITTER, 6K’s no runs allowed vs Norte Vista

The lions beat Norte Vista 17-0.  Only a Catchers interference in the 3rd kept Mattison from a perfect game.  She struck out 6 in recording another no hitter of the week.   Mattison earned herself the honors of being the Inland Empires Player of the week.  She will move on to qualify for Southern California Athlete

Mattison Beliveau – 2 No Hit Shutouts in one Week vs. Norte Vista

Freshman pitcher Mattison Beliveau threw 2 no hitters in one week.  The only  batter to reach first was on a hit by pitch.  Mattison came back and  retired the next 15 batters and struck out 12 to secure the no hitter.  On Friday she did it again. Only a catchers interference in the 3rd kept

Soccer Plays Tough with Norte Vista to end with a TIE

The Boys Varsity Soccer Team tied 0 – 0  with Norte Vista on Friday.  This records their fourth shut out in a row. The boys are working their way back into the playoff mix. Keep it up LIONS.  They take on Ramona Monday. Good Luck!
