This legendary class of inductees represents the peak of athletic excellence, beginning with two-way football MVP Ed Luna (’78), winner of the coveted Maroon Helmet for defensive dominance. Trailblazer Kim Langston (’81) made history as Arlington’s first female athlete to earn All-County basketball honors and qualify for the elite CIF Masters track meet, while multi-sport ironwoman Lindsey Crowl-Watts (’99) racked up 10 varsity letters, 10 Scholar-Athlete honors, and an undefeated 15-0 Ivy League tennis title. On the sidelines, Coach John Seydel cemented his legacy as the county’s longest-tenured single-school coach by capturing 507 career victories with the Lions. Finally, Riverside Sports Hall of Fame Wall of Distinction honoree Steve Smith won four CIF Basketball titles and a State Championship before building a legendary career of leadership and mentorship in the WNBA
