Huge THANK YOU for Our Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC)! 🌟 Behind every great athletic department is a heartbeat, and for us, that heartbeat is our Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).
This year, this incredible group of leaders went above and beyond the call of duty. Composed of two dedicated representatives from each of our 22 sports teams, SAAC has truly been the eyes and ears of our campus athletics. Being a student-athlete is already a full-time job, yet these individuals consistently chose to give up their own time to serve others. They skipped their lunches to meet, collaborate, and advocate. They poured hours of tireless community service into making major campus events a massive success, including, The Athletic Hall of Fame and Read Across America. As the voice of All 22 Teams, SAAC ensures that resources and facilities are spread equitably across all 22 of our sports programs. Without their insight, it would be impossible to stay truly connected to the pulse of our student-athlete community. We always want to ensure our athletes are well taken care of, protected, and empowered and SAAC gives them the powerful voice to make that happen. Thank you, SAAC, for your unwavering service, your leadership, and your passion for putting student-athletes first. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🦁🙌💛
And a huge thank you to our SAAC advisors
